Alison Fossey joined the Foundation in 2014 and is part of the charity subgroup.
Alison is a Law Graduate spending her early career with Lothian and Borders Police where she served for four years before transferring to Strathclyde Police. In 2002 she joined the States of Jersey Police.
Over the last 12 years, she was promoted to the rank of Detective Chief Inspector and is now Head of Crime Operations. She is responsible for Public Protection, including Child Protection, Vulnerable Adults, Domestic Abuse and Sex Offender Management and all other major criminal investigations. She is the Senior Investigating Officer, Silver Firearms Commander and Family Liaison Co-ordinator for the Force.
'I value being involved with Bosdet as it allows me to use my skills and experience from policing in a totally different way to help local people. My role on the charity committee, in particular, lets me shine the spotlight on some of the hidden issues in the community and help Bosdet make a difference.'
Her hobbies include running and paddleboarding.
