The Bosdet Foundation has given a £15,000 grant to Jersey Community Transport which is now fully operational, with:
- A functioning website and booking system
- Four vehicles provided by three donor organisations
- Four volunteer drivers
- Five registered member organisations
Following discussions with the Charity Commissioner, the organisation has chosen to remain structured as a social enterprise.
An electric buggy has been acquired to provide access to central St Helier for individuals with mobility challenges.
