Peter Bertram has been a member of the Bosdet Foundation since its incorporation on 13 January, 1989, and has been its Chairman from 1995 to 2018 when he handed over the role to Roger taking and remaining on teh baord as Secretary.
Peter qualified as an advocate of the Royal Court in March, 1985, and specialises in all aspects of local property law but particularly commercial property law. He is a partner of Bedell Cristin.
As a member of the Foundation from its inception Peter has seen the Foundation develop its main property asset "Les Ormes Golf & Leisure Village", St. Brelade, Jersey into a highly successful commercial enterprise providing excellent leisure facilities to islanders and tourists alike. The commercial success of that enterprise provides the platform for the Foundation to more fully develop its charitable role and provide support within the local community.
During his tenure as Chairman Peters principal aims was to promote and maintain a strong team of Foundation members offering a wide sphere of commercial, professional and social skills and experience and to assist that team in developing a long term strategy to ensure that the success of the Foundation is built upon for benefit of future generations of islanders.
